acid base - How to calculate the pH of a buffer after HCl was added?

A buffer is made from 50 mL of 1.0 M benzoic acid, Ka=6.3105, and 50 mL of 1.0 M sodium benzoate.
a) Calculate the pH of this buffer

For this do I simply use log(6.3105)?

b)Calculate the new pH when 0.010 M HCl is added to 100 mL of this buffer.

This one I do not understand.
